Real Estate Market Conditions and Current Prices – March Results

Below are the current market conditions and average real estate prices for several of the local areas:

Ann Arbor – Ann Arbor is still experiencing a Buyer’s Market with the slightest downtown in average sale price of a single family residence down to approximately $260,000.

Chelsea – Chelsea is still experiencing a Buyer’s Market.  With the onset of our spring market, the number of homes on the market has increased, the sales for the month doubled, which resulted in a decrease of average sale price from $224,000 down to approximately $216,000.

Dexter – Dexter experienced a slight upturn in the average sale price of a single family residence to approximately $236,000.  This is great to see as the number of home sales doubled for the area as well!

Grass Lake – Grass Lake is still experiencing a Buyer’s Market.  The month of February brought a slight downturn in the average sale price of a single family home to $124,000.

Manchester – Manchester is still experiencing a strong Buyer’s Market.  With the onset of our spring market, the number of homes for sale – and sold – increased x 4, which did result in a decrease in the average sale price down to approximately $129,000.

MilanThe number of homes sold for the Milan area remained essentially the same, but the average sale price jumped dramatically to approximately $155,500.  The may be a sign that the majority of the foreclosure properties are cleared off the market.

Pinckney– Pinckney is still experiencing a Buyer’s Market though March brought an increase in the average home sale price up to approximately $132,000.

SalineSaline’s market seems to be gaining speed.  There was an increase in the average sale price this month to approximately $278,000 – even with the increase in the number of homes sold, and on the market.

Whitmore Lake – Whitmore Lake’s market conditions show another increase in average sale price this month to approximately $166,000, even with the number of homes on the market increasing slightly.
